Fascinating Name Tessellation

Kia Ora Bloggers

As we are stuck at home for a number of weeks our teachers have given us lot's of fun and creative tasks/activities to keep us entertained for a while. We have a massive variety of tasks and today I chose to complete a maths one. My task was all to do with tessellation and creating my own. I followed the instructions that were provided and this was my final product.

I know mine is not the best but I tried :)

Have you learnt about tesselation?
If you have what have you created?

  1. Well done Mckenna. Your lettering looks pretty accurate- It must have been hard to try and make them all the same when drawing by hand. The colours you have chosen go well together. I look forward to seeing the next fun activity that you post.

  3. Hey Mckenna, this is a cool drawing and it looks like it would have taken you ages (good job we have time on our hands!) You have really grasped the concept of reflectional symmetry and I love that the colours also reflect. Stay safe and stay sane, during the lockdown. I look forward to seeing what else you have been up to. Caz :o)
