Basic Brilliant Pasta

Kia Ora Bloggers

As another day of isolation goes by very slowly I hope that everyone is healthy and safe.

As another activity last night I chose to make dinner for my family. I chose to make a very simple but delish tomato pasta.

Here are some photos

Have you ever made pasta before?
If you have what type and / or flavour?

Fascinating Name Tessellation

Kia Ora Bloggers

As we are stuck at home for a number of weeks our teachers have given us lot's of fun and creative tasks/activities to keep us entertained for a while. We have a massive variety of tasks and today I chose to complete a maths one. My task was all to do with tessellation and creating my own. I followed the instructions that were provided and this was my final product.

I know mine is not the best but I tried :)

Have you learnt about tesselation?
If you have what have you created?

Mean, Median and Mode with Buddy the Cat!

Kia Ora bloggers

In Davies maths, we have been learning about Mean, Median and Mode.
Our task was to create our own scratch project to teach people how to do Mean, Median and Mode.
We used scratch because we can be creative and it is new to some people.
You can do lots of fun things with scratch and it can take a long time.
Want to learn about Mean, Median and Mode? Learn with Buddy, all you have to do is type Mean, Median or Mode into the text box and then Buddy will tell you how to do it.

Did you learn something today?

Have you ever used to scratch?

If you have what have you made?

See you next time :)

Clever Counting

Hi bloggers, We are learning Samoan every Wednesday and over the last two weeks, we have been learning how to count to ten. I found this quite easy as it is very similar to counting to 10 in Maori. Today we used Scratch to code a programme that would show people how to count to ten in Samoan. Check it out! Can you count to 10 in any other language?
